I've also been able to pick up a few extra shifts at work...so Ms. Nights here has worked Days. WOW! What a difference. Things move so much faster when all the doctors and higher-ups are milling around. They were good shifts though and I had a good crew to work with. That makes all the difference.
The Daughter is getting ready for her first Dance Showcase, which will take place in June. The dance is Sleeping Beauty. Her little costume is sooooo cute!! Today she had her pictures at the studio, so we meandered to a kiddie hair salon where she got her make-up expertly applied and her hair in an adorable bun. I wasn't allowed to take pictures at the studio and she put on and took her costume off there...so all I have is some "after" pictures to share of her makeup and hair.
Bubba is crawling all over the house now. I found him in the bathroom the other day making a toilet paper tower. He also fell down two stairs when he thought he could master those too. Luckily I think mostly his pride was bruised and he got scared. He loves to stand at the coffee table and then walk all around it holding on.
Jo-Jo is laying low now that hockey season is done. We've signed him up for swim lessons for the summer since he is kind of afraid of the water. We are also signing him up for a reading program and a few weeks of hockey camp. He will have a busy and hopefully fun summer.
